The Stock Radar operates under a strict editorial policy designed to maintain accuracy, transparency, and reader trust. This page describes our standards in full.
Contents
Independence
The Stock Radar is independently operated by Jungwook Shin. We have no institutional investors, no sponsored content arrangements, and no paid partnerships with any company we cover. Revenue, when earned, comes from display advertising only — and only after editorial decisions are made independently.
Advertisers have no influence over which stocks we cover, how we frame analysis, or what conclusions we reach.
Accuracy Standards
Every factual claim — price data, EPS figures, filing dates, analyst ratings — must be sourced to a primary source cited inline. We do not publish claims we cannot verify. When data conflicts across sources, we note the discrepancy and use the most authoritative primary source (SEC EDGAR > Finnhub > Yahoo Finance).
Not Investment Advice
Every article on The Stock Radar carries a clear disclaimer: “This article is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Always do your own research before making any investment decision.”
We analyze what has happened and explain why. We identify key price levels to monitor. We do not tell readers to buy or sell any security. We do not manage money or hold brokerage licenses.
Corrections Policy
When a factual error is identified — by us, by a reader, or by a source — we correct it promptly:
- Minor errors (typos, formatting): corrected within 24 hours, no notation required
- Factual errors (wrong price, wrong date, wrong EPS figure): corrected within 24 hours with a timestamped correction note appended to the article
- Material errors (incorrect catalyst identification, wrong company): corrected immediately, with a prominent correction notice and explanation of what was wrong
We never silently delete incorrect claims. Errors are corrected in place with clear attribution. See our Corrections page for the active correction log.
